Overview

Join our team as a Full-Time Hot Meals Clerk and be a vital part of delivering nutritious, high-quality meals to our community. This energetic role offers the opportunity to engage with customers, ensure the smooth operation of meal service areas, and maintain a clean, organized environment. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels valued and cared for. Responsibilities

Prepare and serve hot meals efficiently while maintaining food safety standards
Assist customers with their meal selections, answer questions, and provide excellent service
Maintain cleanliness of food preparation areas, dining spaces, and equipment through regular cleaning and sanitation
Restock supplies, organize merchandising displays, and ensure proper storage of food items
Support maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting issues to ensure a safe, functional environment
Supervision of colleagues in department in evenings

Qualifications

Previous experience in retail sales or food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for customer interaction is essential
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse community needs
Knowledge of merchandising, cleaning protocols, and basic maintenance procedures is advantageous
Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Excellent customer service mindset with a positive attitude and team-oriented approach
