Whitemud Ironworks Limited is one of the largest open shop commercial fabricator/erector in Western Canada. We are a fully integrated steel fabricator and erector that specializes in structural and miscellaneous steel projects in the commercial sector.

We are recognized as an industry leader. Due to our reputation, we have grown substantially over the past 25+ years with established offices and construction crews in BC and AB and three fabrication facilities across Alberta totaling over 400,000 square feet.

Currently, Whitemud Ironworks has a dedicated team of 250+ employees. As we continue to expand in the industry and prepare for another busy year, we are looking for experienced and dedicated individuals to join our team!

We are seeking a steel loader with overhead crane experience to join our fabrication team in Nisku on the dayshift.

The key duties of this position include:

Loading structural steel with an overhead crane
Inspect incoming materials including matching, logging and filing packing slips
Loading and unloading trucks
Working closely with the Shipping Coordinator

The ideal candidate will have:

At least 1-year experience with overhead crane
Previous steel loading experience preferred
A team player and a high commitment to safety, quality, and productivity
Experienced labourers with overhead crane experienced are also welcome to apply
