Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional food service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills, work with a dynamic team, and contribute to creating memorable dining experiences for our guests.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients.
Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly following food safety guidelines
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station and equipment.
Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours.
Follow all health and safety regulations to uphold a safe working environment.
Restock supplies as needed and assist with inventory management.

Skills

Proven experience in serving, food preparation, or cooking within a restaurant or food service setting.
Strong understanding of food handling procedures and food safety standards.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent knowledge of meal preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team.
Knowledge of the food industry trends and best practices in kitchen safety and hygiene.
Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
