Full job description

This position is in-office every Monday at our Bolton location. Experience with Ceridian Payroll System is mandatory.

Job Summary
Roma Fence Group of Companies is looking for a Part-Time Payroll Clerk to support our payroll functions and ensure employees are paid accurately and on time.

Payroll Clerk duties and responsibilities

Enroll and maintain employee information in payroll and HR systems
Track union employee hours and update pay rates as required under applicable union agreements
Ensure compliance with relevant payroll legislation and internal policies
Verify employee hours worked
Update salary information when employees receive a raise or bonus
Ensure all banking information for each employee is correct
Create reports to manage payroll payments, deductions, and other regular modifications
Electronically submit all information to the bank so pay can be issued on time
Manage payroll errors and correct issues for employees

Requirements

Experience with Ceridian (Power Pay) Payroll System Mandatory
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Strong organizational and communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
