IDENTIFICATION

Job Title: Packaging & Retail Associate

Department: Operations

Reports to: Packaging Team Lead

SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Packaging & Retail Associate supports daily packaging and retail operations by performing various tasks along the packaging line to ensure products are filled, labeled, packaged, and prepared according to quality, food safety, and company standards. This role works collaboratively with the packaging and retail teams to maintain efficient and safe operations.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Packaging & Retail Operations

· Perform assigned tasks at various workstations along the packaging line.

· Fill, seal, label, and package products according to production and packaging specifications.

· Prepare and assemble packaging materials required for operations.

· Verify labels, LOT numbers, packaging materials, product appearance, and packaging accuracy.

· Assist with packing, palletizing, and preparing finished goods for shipment or storage.

Quality, Food Safety, & Compliance

· Perform visual quality checks and report any product, packaging, or quality concerns.

· Follow all allergen control procedures and food safety requirements.

· Comply with HACCP, SQF, health and safety, and company policies and procedures.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Education / Experience

· High school diploma or equivalent considered an asset.

· Previous experience in food production, packaging, manufacturing, or warehouse environments considered an asset.

Skills & Competencies

· Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

RÉSUMÉ DU POSTE

L’Associé(e) – Emballage et détail soutient les activités quotidiennes d’emballage et de détail en effectuant différentes tâches sur la ligne d’emballage afin d’assurer que les produits soient remplis, étiquetés, emballés et préparés conformément aux normes de qualité, de sécurité alimentaire et aux standards de l’entreprise. Ce poste travaille en collaboration avec l’équipes d’emballage et détail afin d’assurer des opérations sécuritaires et efficaces.

TÂCHES ET RESPONSABILITÉS

Opérations d’emballage et de détail

· Effectuer les tâches assignées aux différents postes de travail sur la ligne d’emballage.

· Remplir, sceller, étiqueter et emballer les produits conformément aux spécifications de production et d’emballage.

· Préparer et assembler le matériel d’emballage requis pour les opérations.

· Vérifier les étiquettes, les numéros de LOT, le matériel d’emballage, l’apparence des produits et l’exactitude de l’emballage.

· Participer à l’emballage, à la palettisation et à la préparation des produits finis pour l’expédition ou l’entreposage.

Qualité, sécurité alimentaire et conformité

· Effectuer des vérifications visuelles de la qualité et signaler toute anomalie liée au produit, à l’emballage ou à la qualité.

· Respecter toutes les procédures de contrôle des allergènes ainsi que les exigences en matière de sécurité alimentaire.

· Se conformer aux exigences HACCP, SQF, aux règles de santé et sécurité ainsi qu’aux politiques et procédures de l’entreprise.

· Maintenir un environnement de travail propre, organisé et sécuritaire.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Formation / Expérience

· Diplôme d’études secondaires ou équivalent considéré comme un atout.

· Expérience préalable en production alimentaire, emballage, fabrication ou dans un environnement d’entrepôt considérée comme un atout.

Compétences et aptitudes

· Capacité à travailler efficacement en équipe.

· Capacité à effectuer un travail répétitif et physiquement exigeant.

· Capacité à travailler dans un environnement rapide et à s’adapter aux priorités changeantes.

· Souci du détail et engagement envers la qualité.

· Attitude positive et sens des responsabilités.

· Capacité à suivre les procédures et a travailler de façon sécuritaire.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
