Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent patient communication abilities, and a passion for promoting oral health. This role involves delivering preventive dental care, educating patients, and supporting overall practice operations to ensure an exceptional patient experience.

Responsibilities

Perform dental cleanings, periodontal screenings, and other preventive procedures with precision and care.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and treatment plans tailored to their needs.
Assist in the development of personalized care plans based on patient assessments.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using dental practice management software such as Dentrix.
Support the dental team during procedures, including assisting with orthodontics, pediatrics, or other specialty treatments as needed.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including sterilization and infection control protocols.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient questions and concerns professionally and empathetically.

Experience

Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with relevant state or regional certification.
Prior experience working in a dental office setting is highly preferred.
Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental management software is advantageous.
Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures enhances patient care delivery.
Bilingual abilities are considered a strong asset for serving diverse patient populations.
Experience in dental assisting or related roles is beneficial but not mandatory.
Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental health is essential for accurate documentation and communication.
