Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee our company's financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to strategic financial planning and support the company's growth objectives through effective financial management and analysis. The position requires proficiency in various accounting software and a strong understanding of financial processes.

Responsibilities

Manage all accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets to provide insights into company performance.
Oversee account reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies, variances, or irregularities and implement corrective actions.
Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other platforms to maintain accurate financial records.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and standards.
Assist in the development of budgets and forecasts to support strategic planning initiatives.
Coordinate with external auditors during audits and ensure timely completion of audit procedures.
Maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.

Skills

Proven experience with accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other relevant platforms.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
Expertise in accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and account reconciliation.
Ability to perform detailed account analysis and budgeting activities.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills for reporting financial information clearly to stakeholders.
Prior experience in a Controller or senior accounting role is preferred.

Pay: $90,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
