Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Grill Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation and cooking, with a strong focus on food safety and quality. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a vibrant restaurant environment, delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. The Grill Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook grilled dishes with precision, following established recipes and presentation standards
Ensure all food is cooked to the proper temperature and meets safety guidelines
Handle food with care, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout the cooking process
Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients for various menu items
Serve food efficiently and courteously to guests, maintaining a high level of customer service
Maintain cleanliness of the grill station, including cleaning grills, utensils, and work surfaces regularly
Follow all food safety protocols and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe dining environment
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders during busy periods
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs for restocking

Qualifications

Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is a must
Expert on the grill would be ideal
Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices in the food industry
Experience in meal preparation, cooking techniques, and food presentation
Strong understanding of serving procedures and customer service excellence
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends as needed
