Full job description

Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where hospitality and customer satisfaction are top priorities. Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals with a passion for the food industry.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks when needed to support team efficiency
Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas in accordance with sanitation standards
Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
Provide guest services that exceed expectations, addressing any concerns promptly and professionally

Requirements

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred but not required; training provided for motivated candidates
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
Ability to handle food safely and follow sanitation guidelines diligently
Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
Knowledge of food industry standards, serving techniques, and food safety protocols is advantageous
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed must have smart certificate
