Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a professional and personable Leasing Agent to join our property management team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in attracting prospective tenants, managing leasing inquiries, and maintaining positive relationships with current residents. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where excellent customer service and strong administrative skills are essential. The Leasing Agent will be responsible for showcasing properties, processing applications, and ensuring a smooth leasing process from start to finish.

Responsibilities

Greet prospective tenants and conduct property tours to highlight features and amenities
Manage leasing inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions with professionalism and courtesy
Utilize Yardi or similar property management software for data entry, lease processing, and record keeping
Assist with application screening, background checks, and lease documentation
Maintain organized filing systems for tenant records and lease agreements
Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and updating property management databases (CMMS)
Negotiate lease terms with prospective tenants to reach mutually beneficial agreements
Foster positive customer relationships through excellent service and follow-up communication
Collaborate with property management teams to ensure occupancy goals are met and maintained

Requirements

Proven experience in office administration, sales, or customer service within property management or related fields
Familiarity with Yardi or comparable property management software is highly preferred
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in data entry and record keeping
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for engaging with tenants and prospects
Ability to negotiate effectively and handle customer relationship management professionally
Experience with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and using CMMS systems is advantageous
Prior office experience or property management background is a plus
Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating within a team environment

Pay: From $2,500.00 per month
