Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Craft Beer/Cocktails and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, maintaining the bar area, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Your ability to manage time effectively and handle cash transactions will be crucial in delivering a seamless experience.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
Engage with customers, providing recommendations and answering questions about drink offerings.
Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies, assisting with ordering as necessary to maintain stock.
Adhere to food safety and handling regulations to ensure the health and safety of all patrons.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
Assist in training new bartenders or bar staff as needed, sharing knowledge of best practices in bartending and customer service.

Qualifications

Previous experience in bartending 2-3 years experience or food service is preferred.
Strong understanding of food safety practices within the restaurant or food industry.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience using POS systems is advantageous.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude towards customers and colleagues.
Strong communication skills, with an emphasis on helping customers feel valued and appreciated.
Must be of legal drinking age as per local regulations.
