Our Pilot Development Program is a first‑of‑its‑kind opportunity in Canada, built to help ambitious pilots take their careers to the next level.
Created through a powerful partnership between Chartright Air Group and Air Canada, this program is all about investing in the future of aviation and opening doors for the next generation of pilots. Participants must complete a minimum of three (3) years in the program, at least two (2) of which must be served in the left seat as Captain. Once complete, eligible pilots gain access to a facilitated airline interview process with Air Canada, creating a direct, supported pathway to long‑term opportunities, whether that future is with Chartright, Air Canada, or beyond.

️ What You’ll Do:

Act as a Captain on a Citation Ultra aircraft in Toronto.

Ensure flights are conducted in a safe manner

Support daily operation activities on available reserve days

Liaise with Chartright’s Flight Coordination Centre and Sales to ensure all operational and service requirements are delivered

Foster an environment of collaboration and encourage an atmosphere where co-workers can share ideas, improvements and solutions

Provide direct customer service to clients contributing to their exceptional client experience

Perform monthly training courses and other duties as required
What You Bring:
-
Canadian Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL)
-
Group 1 Multi-Engine IFR
-
Valid Transport Canada Medical
-
Canadian Radio Telephone License
-
Minimum of 1500 hours total flight time
-
Minimum 250 multi-engine PIC hours, jet or turbine time is preferred

A University degree or College diploma in Aviation is preferred
-
Ability to lift up to 60 Ibs
-
Hands-on experience with flight management systems and glass cockpits

Strong understanding of aviation weather, airport performance, flight plan calculations, fuel planning, weight and balance

Expert knowledge of the Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) and SMS safety practices

A positive mindset with the strong ability to work collaboratively and effectively build relationships across the organization

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Exceptional client service, organization and prioritization skills

Ability to work a flexible schedule to support clients’ needs

Previous International flying experience (Europe & South America) is required

Previous time on type is preferred
