Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Part-Time Xero Bookkeeper / Office Administrator to support our financial and administrative operations. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in accounting software and bookkeeping, looking to contribute to a dynamic team. The successful candidate will manage various accounting tasks, ensure accurate record-keeping, and assist with office administration duties, all while working flexible hours.

Duties

Manage and maintain accurate financial records using Xero accounting software
Perform bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
Conduct account reconciliations and bank reconciliations to ensure data accuracy
Analyze accounts to identify discrepancies or irregularities
Assist with payroll processing and related reporting
Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review
Support budgeting processes by tracking expenses and revenues
Maintain organized records of invoices, receipts, and financial documents
Assist with general office administration duties as needed, including data entry and document management

Experience

Proven experience working with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage
Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices
Experience handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliation processes
Familiarity with payroll processing and related compliance requirements
Ability to perform account analysis and budgeting tasks effectively
Prior experience in office administration is a plus
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a part-time capacity
