Full job description

Fuel Automation Station (FAS) is a patented automated fueling solution that is setting the standard for safety and efficiency in a multitude of industries worldwide. Engineered with up to 28 hoses to fill multiple pieces of equipment simultaneously, FAS technology boosts operational efficiency while eliminating spills, hazards and downtime. FAS offers a smart and secure cloud-based digital platform that provides customers with real-time data insight into their day-to-day fueling operations and is part of the Simon Group Holdings energy technology portfolio.

JOB SUMMARY:

As a FAS Operator, you will be responsible for automated mobile fueling on Frac sites in the oil field. You will succeed in this position if you work well on a team and can communicate in a respectful and inclusive way.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operate FAS units according to FAS operating procedures
Operate safely within the work environment assigned
Provide basic maintenance/operational inspections, as required for the units, tanks, and hoses
Maintain accurate records relating to the above duties
Assist with Rig in and out procedures
Ability to identify and troubleshoot problems in a very fast-paced environment
Ability to work away from home for long periods of time
Have a flexible schedule, and ability to manage changing work environments
Able to do physically demanding tasks
Understanding of creating/maintaining inspection reports (pre-job, post-job), maintenance and repair reports, incident reports, and dangerous goods occurrence reports
Multi-task with several project priorities
Capable of working in an unsupervised environment; proactive
A commitment to excellence

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma
Ability to prioritize and adapt to change
Exceptional communication and organizational skills
A strong team player
Self-motivated
Ability to work closely with on-site personnel and other subcontractors
Valid Driver's license and a driving abstract that meets company standards
H2S Alive, Standard First Aid & CPR, TDG, WHIMIS, CSO all assets
MUST have insurance history of 3 to 5 years

All applicants considered are subject to a pre-employment screening including a drug and alcohol test, criminal record check, physical fitness test, and must have an acceptable motor vehicle report. Pre-access drug and alcohol testing may also be required depending on the client site. Some clients mandate vaccinations so you must be able to show proof of vaccination.
