Job Description

Position: Inside Sales/Shipper and Receiver

Job summary: Serve as the customer’s first point of contact, Completing sales transactions, build relationships with existing customers as well as assist in the development of new customers, while complying with health and safety regulations.

Job Responsibilities

The customer’s first point of contact when shopping in-store or calling the branch
Completing sales transactions, daily banking reconciliation reports, and purchasing
Required to pick, prepare and load purchased product on to the Company truck or load the customer’s truck
Required to offload and put away product that is delivered to the branch
Responsible for the safe and efficient movement and storage of the product while at the facility
Lifting 80lbs and operate a lift truck.
Responsible for keeping the warehouse clean and organized
Demonstrating excellent customer service and strong communication skills as you interact directly with customers

Qualifications

College diploma and/or 3 or more years of Warehouse and Forklift Experience
3 or more years of successful retail, business, accounting, or sales experience
Valid Forklift License - an asset (training can be provided)
Ability to lift, push and carry 80-100lbs repeatedly
Strong customer service skills
Knowledge of the roofing industry would be considered an asset

Salary range: $19-22 per hour
