Job Title: Plant Helper

Location: Peace River, AB

Shift: Rotational (days/nights/weekends)

Position Summary: The Plant Helper primarily works in outdoor weather conditions and assists with day-to-day activities in our production operations. The Plant Helper will perform a variety of tasks from shoveling sand to operating a skid steer. Plant Helpers must be flexible with duties and responsibilities as they could change frequently throughout each shift.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Shovel/clean up spillage of sand, rock, or mud at conveyor transfer points, feeder discharges, plant leakage areas, and spillovers.
Perform plant inspections, within scope, and report issues to plant operator and/or shift supervisor.
Observe and monitor production equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations and to identify malfunctions.
Operate equipment, within scope, which may include skid steer, man lift, loader, Company vehicles, etc.
Pull product samples for quality control and adhere to strict quality control standards.
Perform basic plant maintenance duties, within scope.
Other duties as assigned

Who We’re Looking For:

High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Excellent communication skills.
Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to work well on a team, or independently.

A mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn

Previous manufacturing and/or production experience, preferred.
Previous experience operating equipment
