Dryco Building Supplies is a growing independent distributor of drywall, steel studs, insulation, acoustical ceilings, and construction accessories serving contractors across Ontario. Our mission is simple: provide exceptional service, reliable delivery, and industry expertise that helps our customers succeed.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join our Ontario team.

Position Overview

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for building strong relationships with contractors, preparing quotations, processing orders, and providing exceptional customer service. This role works closely with outside sales, purchasing, dispatch, and operations to ensure customers receive accurate pricing, timely deliveries, and industry-leading support.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys helping customers find solutions for their projects.

Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service & Relationship Management

Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, and commercial customers.
Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and in person.
Provide product information, technical support, and material recommendations.
Proactively communicate with customers regarding order status, pricing, and product availability.

Quotations & Sales

Prepare accurate quotations for drywall, steel framing, insulation, ceilings, and related building materials.
Follow up on quotations and identify opportunities to secure business.
Work with customers to maximize project opportunities and value-added sales.
Support outside sales representatives with project pricing and customer management.
Assist in achieving branch sales and margin objectives.

Order Management

Enter and process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Coordinate with purchasing and operations to ensure product availability.
Work with dispatch to ensure deliveries are scheduled and completed successfully.
Resolve customer concerns related to orders, deliveries, pricing, or product availability.

Pricing & Profitability

Maintain pricing accuracy and adherence to company pricing policies.
Review margins and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
Work with management on project pricing and special quotations.
Support vendor promotions and customer rebate programs when applicable.

Team Collaboration

Work closely with purchasing, warehouse, dispatch, and management teams.
Contribute to a positive, customer-focused culture.
Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements.

QualificationsRequired

Minimum 2 years of sales, customer service, or construction industry experience.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred

Experience in drywall, steel framing, insulation, acoustical ceilings, or construction materials.
Experience with contractor sales and project quotations.
Knowledge of blueprint reading and material takeoffs.
Experience with ERP or distribution management systems.
