At The Red Oak Centre, we believe children, teens, and families thrive when they feel understood, capable, and cared for. Since 2016, we’ve been a soft place to land - a multidisciplinary clinic where occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, psychologists, and educators work together to provide integrated, values-driven care.
We're growing our team and looking for an experienced or new graduate Occupational Therapist who is passionate about pediatric practice.
As an experienced OT, you’ll bring your clinical expertise into a collaborative, values-driven environment, with the opportunity to deepen your practice, contribute to a multidisciplinary team, and take on a high level of autonomy in your clinical work. There are also opportunities to support mentorship, contribute to program development, and grow within a structured, evolving model of care.
As a new grad, we know stepping into pediatric practice can feel overwhelming. That’s why we have a designed program for new grads with scaffolded learning, one-to-one mentorship, and a graduated approach, so you can build the confidence and expertise needed for independent practice while feeling fully supported.
Why You’ll Love Working Here:
A soft place to land - a warm, welcoming clinic designed to support children, families, and the therapists who care for them.
Collaborative learning environment - work alongside clinicians with varying levels of expertise, with opportunities to learn through shared cases, observation, and team collaboration.
Collaboration across disciplines - join an expert multidisciplinary team where OT, SLP, psychology, and education truly integrate.
Continuous learning - workshops, case reviews, and school collaborations to deepen your clinical skills.
Values-driven culture - rooted in excellence, professionalism, collaboration, and warmth.
Mentorship opportunities - structured mentorship is available through internal programs and can be discussed based on experience and clinical goals.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide evidence-based occupational therapy assessments and interventions for children and adolescents and their parents
- Support children with ADHD, autism, anxiety, sensory processing challenges, and motor development needs
- Collaborate with families and professionals across disciplines to deliver integrated, client-centred care
- Provide clear and concise progress updates, recommendations, and goals during parent sessions
- Work within Red Oak’s administrative and operational systems to support consistent, coordinated care.
- For new grads - Engage in mentorship and reflective practice as you grow into independent clinical work
- Practice within Red Oak’s clinical framework, with opportunities to grow across a leveled model of practice with increasing autonomy, complexity, and compensation.

- You’re looking for structured mentorship, shadowing, and guided development.
- You’re open to feedback, reflective practice, and a gradual transition into independent clinical work.
- Pediatric experience is an asset, but not required as this role is designed to support your development.
