Overview
We are seeking a talented and dedicated Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive kitchen experience, and a passion for creating exceptional dishes. This role involves overseeing food preparation, managing kitchen staff, ensuring food safety standards, and delivering outstanding service to our guests. A background in restaurant management and food industry operations is highly desirable. The Chef will play a vital role in maintaining our reputation for quality and excellence in hospitality.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
Oversee food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene compliance
Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain proper storage of ingredients
Ensure all food served meets quality standards and presentation expectations
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area in accordance with health regulations
Collaborate with front-of-house team to coordinate serving times and menu offerings
Train new staff members on food preparation, safety protocols, and customer service
Monitor kitchen operations to optimize workflow and reduce waste

Experience

Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment
Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and food service operations
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
Experience in restaurant management or kitchen management roles preferred
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques
Familiarity with the food industry trends, hospitality practices, and serving protocols
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
