Position Summary

The Filler Operator is responsible for the setup, operation, cleaning, and monitoring of filling and packaging equipment within a dairy manufacturing facility. This role ensures production efficiency, product quality, food safety compliance, and adherence to company standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Perform filler setup and equipment preparation at the start of each production shift.
Operate fluid filling equipment, bottle washers, and packaging machinery safely and efficiently.
Conduct equipment tear-down, Clean-in-Place (CIP) procedures, cleaning, and reassembly as required.
Monitor product quality and maintain quality control standards throughout the production process.
Troubleshoot minor equipment and operational issues and report maintenance concerns promptly.
Safely operate a floor jack; forklift certification is considered an asset but is not required.
Maintain compliance with GMP, food safety, and workplace safety requirements.
Complete required production and quality documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Support housekeeping and sanitation standards within the production area.
Work collaboratively with production, quality assurance, and maintenance teams.

Physical Requirements

Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks
Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs as required
Ability to work in refrigerated or wet production environments
