Full job description

Be a part of Edmonton’s premier residential property management company. RE/MAX Rental Advisors is looking for an energetic Residential Property Manager that can service an already existing list of properties. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for unlimited income potential and career growth. Education: ALBERTA REAL ESTATE OR PROPERTY MANAGEMENT LICENSE FROM RECA

Experience: Minimum 1 year

Languages: English

Work Setting: Property management company. Professional environment.

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Part time to start with ability to move into Full time

Salary: Very competitive hourly wage plus commission. 20 - 25 hours per week, Bonus, Medical Benefits, Dental Benefits, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance Benefits, Group Insurance Benefits, Vision Care Benefits

Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 1:30pm - 6:30pm; Saturdays as required

Car and gas allowance provided

Security and Safety: Criminal record check

Computer Applications: PC, Windows, Electronic Mail and Property Management Software (Buildium)

Summary of key functions:

Daily work involves negotiations and approving rental or lease of properties on behalf of the property owner, ensuring terms of lease agreements are met. Must be able to communicate effectively with all internal departments including the advertising, maintenance, and leasing departments.
Conduct showings, target inspections, move-in and move-out inspections
Review tenant applications for suitable tenancy
Meet with owners and conduct a first site review report, take photos for advertising, write up property description, receive and handle property keys and controllers, show the property to prospective tenants, encourage tenant applications, approve tenants.
Conduct pre-move-in inspections, target inspections, move-in and move-out inspections of the property.
Keep owners updated on the progress of finding a suitable tenant with feedback and suggestions.
Post notification of 24hrs and 14-day eviction notices
Tasks may involve dealing with the owner and tenant disputes, assisting with complaints and escalations
Ensure response to trouble calls from clients/owners
Develop and maintain processes that are focused on improvements to service delivery

Essential Skills:

Organized, computer proficient, excellent communication skills, working with others, Problem-solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Attention to detail

Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's license. Must use personal vehicle for work.

Car and gas allowance provided.
