About the Position
Creative Realities is building the future of retail and place‑based media. Where digital signage, retail media networks, and advertising technology come together to create measurable value inside physical environments.
As Director, Retail Media & Media Success, you will lead strategy, storytelling, and execution across our retail media ecosystem, bridging SaaS‑based platforms, media monetization, and client success. This role is designed for a confident, versatile leader who can carry forward an established strategy, strengthen how we go to market, and ensure everything continues to move smoothly as we scale.
You’ll be trusted to operate with autonomy, influence across teams, and represent Creative Realities confidently with clients and partners.
*This is for a 12 month contract.
What Makes This Role Compelling
- A chance to influence both media strategy and SaaS GTM execution
- Meaningful ownership across clients, teams, and platforms
- A leadership role in one of the fastest‑growing areas of media and advertising
- The ability to genuinely shape how retail media and digital signage succeed at scale
The successful candidate will own the narrative, partner for the sale with our vertical Sales teams, guide the strategy, and keep the CRI media focus advancing. Someone equally comfortable in a client room, a GTM discussion, or an internal working session.
If you combine SaaS understanding, media confidence, operational discipline, and strong storytelling instincts, this role gives you the space and trust to make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities
Retail Media & AdTech Input
- Carry forward and evolve Creative Realities’ retail media strategy with confidence and clarity
- Apply strategic thinking to guide monetized media networks, SaaS platforms, and client programs
- Shape and refine value propositions and GTM narratives for our digital signage and AdTech solutions
- Bring a strong understanding of SaaS (software‑as‑a‑sale) business models, including platform value, scalability, and client adoption within media or advertising technology ecosystems
- Retail media / RMN experience is a strong asset; SaaS experience in digital signage or AdTech is highly valued
Storytelling, Sales & Client Leadership
- Be a confident, client‑facing leader. Comfortable presenting, influencing, and co‑selling
- Translate complex SaaS, media, and technology concepts into clear, compelling stories
- Support sales efforts through:
- RFP responses
- Client presentations
- Strategic sales conversations
- Develop and maintain sales enablement materials, pitch narratives, and GTM frameworks
- Serve as a trusted advisor in client discussions. Credible, personable, and solution‑oriented
Media Success & Problem Solving
- Help define what “success” looks like across SaaS platforms, retail media networks, and client objectives
- Use structured problem‑solving skills to address client, commercial, and operational challenges
- Partner with data, product, and operations teams to ensure outcomes, not just delivery
Cross‑Functional Leadership & Influence
- Work seamlessly across sales, product, media, operations, and technology teams
- Be comfortable influencing without authority and aligning multiple stakeholders
- Step into gaps, unblock progress, and advance work without constant oversight
- Actively support cross‑functional initiatives where versatility and judgment are required
Operational Excellence & Continuity
- Ensure internal workflows, handoffs, and accountability run smoothly
- Maintain momentum even during leadership absences—nothing stalls
- Drive documentation, process optimization, and operational clarity
- Improve how work flows across teams, not just what gets shipped
Education and Experience
- University or College Degree in relevant discipline, minimum
- A minimum of 8 years in customer success type roles, helping in the selling process, preferably in the media / advertising industry
- Additional attention to those that have experience in the Retail Media, Digital Signage and/or digital DOOH / OOH (out of home) industries.
Key Competencies/Behaviors
- A strategic thinker who can also execute
- Organized, structured, and reliable
- Highly collaborative and easy to work with
- A strong written and verbal communicator
- Comfortable balancing multiple priorities in a fast‑moving environment
- Flexible, agile, and self‑directed
- Someone teams trust to keep things moving forward
- Technical experience is a plus, but media and retail media experience are a stronger asset. You don’t need to be the deepest technologist in the room, you know how to partner with those who are.
