Full job description

Overview
We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented Blade Repair Technicians to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, with experience operating various tools. The Repair Technician will play a critical role in supporting the safety, efficiency, and reliability of our operations through hands-on technical work and problem-solving expertise.

Responsibilities

Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on wind turbine equipment using hand tools, power tools, and rigging techniques
Conduct troubleshooting to identify root causes of equipment failures and implement effective solutions
Assist with rigging and lifting operations to safely move heavy components or machinery
Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and industry regulations
Collaborate with team members to prioritize repair tasks and improve operational efficiency

Requirements

Proven experience in blade repair
Valid IRATA Level 3
Blade Repair ticket
GWO certifications
Availability for the 2026 season
Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in repairing heavy machinery and equipment
Electrical experience, particularly with low voltage systems and wiring repairs
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and rigging techniques
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues accurately and efficiently
Excellent safety awareness and adherence to safety protocols during all repair activities
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

This position offers an opportunity for skilled technicians to apply their expertise in a dynamic setting while contributing to the ongoing success of our operations.

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 6-9 months

Pay: $30.00-$47.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
