Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Laborer to join our team and contribute to a variety of outdoor construction and landscaping projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to operate various tools and equipment. This position offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in landscape construction, restoration, and related trades, supporting the development of a diverse skill set in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

Experience installing interlock and retaining walls is an asset.
Experience with plants, trees and garden work is an asset
.Experience with concrete saws, leaf blowers, drills, and saws is an asset.
Experience with skidsteers, excavators, dump trucks and trailers is an asset.
Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to drive to the shop or site depending on the day's instructions.
Must have a proficient grasp of the English language.
Follow safety protocols at all times during project execution

Experience

Prior experience in landscaping is preferred
Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating is a plus
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, concrete techniques, flooring installation, tile laying, and caulking is advantageous
Experience operating heavy equipment or machinery relevant to landscape or construction projects is desirable
Ability to read technical drawings and understand construction plans enhances job performance
