Project Manager — Manufacturing & Production: True North Log & Timber Homes Inc.

Office Location: Bracebridge, Ontario | Full-Time, In-Person

Compensation CA$90,000 to CA$100,000 base salary, commensurate with experience Plus 10% annual performance bonus

About the Role

True North Log & Timber Homes Inc. is looking for a Project Manager who sits at the centre of our operation and keeps everything moving. This is an office-based role in Bracebridge, coordinating the full lifecycle of manufactured home projects from contract signing through delivery and post-delivery support.

The right person reads drawings, speaks credibly with engineers, holds the factory accountable to a schedule, and makes sure sales never promises something design and manufacturing cannot deliver. You are the single point of accountability that keeps all four of those groups aligned.

Vacancy: This position is available as a result of an internal promotion.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

Own project timelines, schedules, and full documentation from contract execution through delivery and post-delivery support
Serve as the primary liaison between Sales, Design, Manufacturing, and the client throughout every phase of the project
Coordinate with licensed engineers on technical drawing reviews and design compliance
Resolve scope, schedule, and budget conflicts proactively before they reach the field or the customer
Maintain consistent, clear communication with all internal and external stakeholders

Product Management

Research and evaluate new materials and product innovations for inclusion in our approved catalog
Maintain a current list of approved, sellable, and factory-supported products and enforce it
Support the sales team with technical product knowledge to enable upsell and cross-sell opportunities
Collaborate with manufacturing to confirm new products and specifications are compatible with production processes before they are committed to customers

Purchasing and Inventory

In collaboration with our Purchaser, negotiate pricing, payment terms, and volume discounts with material vendors and suppliers
Issue purchase orders, manage order tracking, and hold vendors to delivery timelines
Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels through demand forecasting and resource planning
Confirm material availability is sequenced ahead of every scheduled home delivery

Qualifications

Minimum 5 to 10 years of project management experience in construction, manufactured housing, modular construction, or a related manufacturing environment (required)
Minimum 5 years of purchasing or supply chain experience with demonstrated vendor negotiation skills (required)
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical construction drawings, blueprints, and engineering documents
Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred
Experience with ERP platforms (Microsoft Business Central preferred) and construction tools such as Bluebeam
PMP designation is an asset
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical content for non-technical audiences
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously

Schedule and Location

Monday to Friday, standard business hours. In-person role based in Bracebridge, Ontario. Candidates located in or willing to relocate to the Gravenhurst and Bracebridge area are preferred.
