Full job description

Position Overview:

As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role is crucial in creating a positive experience for our guests from check-in to check-out. You will handle inquiries, resolve issues, and assist with various guest needs while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality.

Duties

Greet guests upon arrival and provide a warm welcome.
Manage the front desk operations, including check-in and check-out processes.
Answer phone calls promptly using professional phone etiquette to assist guests with inquiries and reservations.
Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
Handle guest complaints and resolve issues efficiently to ensure guest satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions in the hotel management system.
Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
Assist with billing inquiries and payment processing.
Uphold hotel policies and procedures
Work efficiently with a team and contribute to creating a positive workspace.

Skills

Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
Experience in hospitality or hotel environments is preferred.
Proficiency in operating phone systems and managing multiple calls effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage front desk operations efficiently.
A friendly demeanor with a passion for providing outstanding guest services.
