Full job description

Centra is looking for experienced Construction Labourers to join our Exterior Restoration team. Working on large multifamily projects, you'll support a variety of exterior construction activities while helping restore and improve residential buildings throughout the region.

This is a hands-on role for someone who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves, contribute wherever needed, and take pride in keeping projects moving forward.

What's the Job?

As a Construction Labourer, you'll support our crews on exterior restoration projects and gain exposure to a variety of construction and building envelope work.

Your responsibilities may include:

Assisting with window, patio door, and exterior door installations
Framing and wood decay repairs
Caulking, foaming, and weatherproofing
Installing interior and exterior trim
Sheathing and building wrap installation
Supporting building envelope restoration projects
Loading, unloading, and moving materials around site
Assisting with deliveries and staging materials for crews
Supporting demolition and removal of existing building materials
Site preparation and protection
Organizing tools, equipment, and materials
Site clean-up, garbage removal, and maintaining a safe work environment
Working from scaffolding and elevated work platforms
Supporting Carpenters and Lead Hands with construction activities as required

This is a construction labour role. While you'll gain valuable experience in exterior construction and restoration work, successful team members are willing to help wherever needed, including keeping sites clean, organized, safe, and productive.

What We're Looking For

2+ years of exterior construction experience
Experience using hand and power tools safely
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Able to lift, carry, and move construction materials throughout the day
Comfortable working at heights and from scaffolding
Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Building envelope, window installation, siding, framing, renovation, or restoration experience is considered an asset
