Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Taper to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction painting and carpentry, with the ability to read blueprints and execute tasks with precision. As a Taper, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces for painting, applying tape to joints, and ensuring a smooth finish on various projects.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces by cleaning and smoothing areas before taping.
Apply tape to joints in drywall and other surfaces to create a seamless finish.
Use caulking to fill gaps and ensure a polished appearance.
Collaborate with other construction professionals to meet project deadlines.
Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications.
Maintain tools and work areas in a clean and organized manner.
Assist with additional maintenance person tasks as needed throughout the project.

Skills

Proven experience in construction painting and carpentry.
Strong understanding of caulking techniques and materials.
Ability to read blueprints accurately and efficiently.
Maintenance Person experience is a plus, showcasing versatility in various tasks.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
