Landscape Foreman – Hardscaping (1 Position)

Muskoka & Surrounding Cottage Regions

About the Role

The Landscape Foreman leads hardscape construction projects from layout through completion. This role requires strong technical knowledge, steady leadership, and a hands-on approach. You’ll guide crews, coordinate materials and equipment, and ensure projects are built correctly, efficiently, and to NuScape standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead daily hardscape operations including patios, steps, retaining walls, and landscape features
Read and interpret drawings, layouts, grades, and elevations
Coordinate crew workflow, materials, and equipment
Maintain jobsite safety, cleanliness, and organization
Communicate clearly with project management and team members
Ensure projects remain on schedule and within scope

Required Experience & Qualifications

3+ years experience in hardscape or landscape construction
Prior foreman or crew-lead experience preferred
Strong understanding of base preparation, grading, and installation techniques
Valid driver’s license (G or higher)
Comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions like rain, cold and snow.

Assets / Preferred Experience

Cottage or estate-scale project experience
Experience operating skid steers, mini excavators or compact equipment
Ability to mentor and support crew development
