GUEST SERVICE AGENT

JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Assistant Director, Rooms, the Guest Services Agent is the first and last point of contact for guests arriving and departing the resort. This role is responsible for check-ins and check-outs, answering inquiries, supporting guest requests, and assisting with reservations and in-house bookings (including Cedars Dining Room and the Grotto Spa). The ideal candidate is service-focused, professional under pressure, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Complete daily operational checklists to ensure consistent service standards
Manage check-in and check-out procedures with accuracy and attention to detail
Respond to guest inquiries promptly, professionally, and with thorough follow-up when required
Handle complex or sensitive guest situations with empathy and a solution-focused approach
Answer internal calls within established timeframes and greeting standards
Create accurate reservations for walk-in resort guests
Perform clerical and administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and record keeping
Promote resort amenities, events, activities, and promotions to enhance the guest experience
Support selling initiatives and strive to meet targeted selling objectives
Work collaboratively with the Front Office team and support other departments as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
Excellent telephone etiquette and guest service skills
Ability to make decisions and adapt quickly to changing situations
Comfortable working under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
Computer proficiency (Property Management System, Windows-based applications, data entry)
Available to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
