Full job description

Birchview Excavating is looking for a motivated and reliable Labourer to join our growing team. We specialize in excavation, site servicing, septic systems, and residential and commercial construction projects throughout the region.

Responsibilities

Assist with excavation and site preparation projects.
Cut, place, and install stone for various landscaping and construction applications.
Operate a skid steer and other small equipment safely and efficiently.
Perform grading, backfilling, and material handling tasks.
Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite.
Assist equipment operators and crew members as required.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Experience cutting and placing stone is required.
Experience operating a skid steer and other small machinery.
Previous excavation, construction, or landscaping experience is preferred.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions.
Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to work as part of a team.
Experience with site servicing, septic systems, or heavy equipment is considered an asset.
