Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and creative Tattoo Artist to join our vibrant studio. The ideal candidate will have a passion for body art, excellent artistic skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. This role involves designing custom tattoos, maintaining high standards of sanitation, and creating a welcoming environment for clients. Experience in related beauty or retail services such as body waxing, makeup application, or nail care is a plus. The Tattoo Artist will play a key role in enhancing client satisfaction and promoting the studio’s artistic offerings.

Responsibilities

Consult with clients to understand their tattoo ideas and provide professional design recommendations
Create custom tattoo designs that meet client specifications while ensuring artistic quality
Perform tattoo procedures following strict sanitation and safety protocols
Maintain a clean and sterile work environment in compliance with health regulations
Educate clients on aftercare procedures to ensure proper healing of tattoos
Promote studio services through product demos, guest services, and upselling additional treatments such as body waxing or eyelash extensions
Assist at the front desk with guest inquiries, scheduling appointments, and retail sales of related products
Foster positive guest experiences by delivering excellent hospitality and personalized service
Stay updated on industry trends and continuously improve artistic skills through training and practice

Skills

Strong artistic ability with proficiency in drawing and design software (preferred)
Excellent communication skills to effectively consult with clients and explain procedures
Knowledge of sanitation standards specific to tattooing and body art practices
Customer service orientation with a friendly, professional demeanor
Experience in retail sales, upselling, or product demos is advantageous
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Background in related beauty services such as makeup application, nail care, or eyelash extensions is a plus
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining individual artistic integrity
