Security Guard – Full-Time / Part-Time

Role Description

We are hiring Security Guards for full-time and part-time on-site positions based in Chilliwack, BC.

The Security Guard will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment by monitoring assigned premises, conducting patrols, controlling access points, responding to incidents, and completing clear reports. The role requires a calm, professional presence and the ability to communicate respectfully with clients, visitors, staff, and the public.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor assigned sites, buildings, properties, or event areas
Conduct regular foot or vehicle patrols as required
Control access points and verify identification when needed
Respond to alarms, incidents, safety concerns, or suspicious activity
Document daily activities, incidents, and observations through clear reports
Use company systems for tracking, communication, and site reporting
Assist visitors, staff, and clients in a professional manner
Follow site procedures, company policies, and regulatory requirements
Maintain a visible, alert, and professional security presence at all times

Requirements

Valid BC Security Worker Licence, or eligibility to obtain one
Must have access to a reliable vehicle
Class 5 driver’s licence preferred, but not mandatory
Reliable, punctual, and committed to scheduled shifts
Professional, well-groomed, and presentable at all times
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to remain calm and use good judgment under pressure
Able to stand, walk, and perform light physical duties for extended periods
Available for varying shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Previous security, law enforcement, military, or customer service experience is an asset
