Concrete Superintendent

Work – Commercial, Municipal & Industrial Flatworks & Structural (Above/Below Grade)

Duration – Full-Time, Permanent

Locations – Edmonton-based with site visits across Alberta

Compensation – $48–$58/hr, based on experience and competency · company truck + fuel card available

Run complex structural concrete, develop your Foremen, and hold the standard without being chased.

What you'll run

Daily field operations across active concrete scopes — safe, on schedule, on budget
Foremen and crews: plan the work, drive productivity, develop the next leaders
QA/QC to drawings and spec; inspect after strip
The field side of project turnover — know the scope cold
Scope gaps and change-order opportunities, flagged before they cost us
Client and GC coordination; progress reporting through Raken

What you bring

10+ years concrete/formwork; 5+ as Superintendent or senior supervisor
Strong structural and formwork expertise — freeform and engineered systems
You read blueprints and structural drawings cold
Valid Class 5 (non-GDL) licence, clean 3-year abstract
Can clear industrial site access (safety tickets, D&A testing)
Saturday availability as schedules require
Legally entitled to work in Canada
Ability to clear all industrial/plant site access requirements

Nice to have: Doka / Peri / Aluma / Duraform · Raken · NCSO / OHSA or equivalent · industrial or energy project background · a track record of building Foremen.

Experience:

general concrete construction: 5 years (required)
structural concrete construction: 3 years (required)
supervisory/leadership/foreman: 3 years (preferred)
commercial, industrial, or municipal flatworks: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

Valid Class 5 Non-GDL Driver's License (required)
