Full job description

The Junior Flower Farm Market Garden Worker will work closely with the farm manager/owner and the Senior Flower Farm Market Garden Worker to ensure all daily tasks are accomplished for our pick-your-own customers to have the best experience possible in our flower field. This is a versatile job that requires: organizational skills, communication skills, creative skills, problem solving skills as well as gardening/floriculture skills.

The main tasks will be: customer service, customer flow, point-of-sale system, plant care, weeding, deadheading, display set up, general clean up and social media content capturing, flower harvesting, flower packing and flower (fresh and dried) arranging.

The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as previous experiences in customer service. Strong interest and/or experience in flower growing and/or arranging is an asset.

Candidates must be available to work every weekend (Saturday & Sunday).

This Job is part of the Canada Summer Job Program and we will prioritize the recruitment of youths who face barriers to employment (Indigenous youth, racialized youth, Black youth, youth with disabilities, youth in rural, remote, Northern or Fly-in community, youth in an official language minority community and 2SLGBTQI+ youth).

Anticipated start date: June 20, 2026
