Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role requires a passion for food, excellent food handling skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. The Line Cook will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests by ensuring timely and consistent meal preparation.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients
Cook dishes with precision, ensuring proper presentation and taste
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station throughout shifts
Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times
Serve dishes promptly to ensure freshness and customer satisfaction
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy hours
Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to keep the station prepared for service
Adhere to all restaurant policies regarding hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service within a restaurant or food industry setting
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong understanding of meal preparation and kitchen operations
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team
Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is highly preferred
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings if required
Passion for delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer service
