About us

Peridot Supply Inc is a growth oriented company engaged in wholesale distribution of building materials for the construction industry.

Objectives

The Sales Administrator provides essential administrative, marketing, and operational support to the Sales Director and the outside sales team. This role maintains accurate records, coordinates communication between internal departments and customers, assists with marketing initiatives, and is a key user and champion of the company’s CRM system. The Sales Administrator is a pivotal position and is responsible for a variety of job functions.

Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and manage customer relationships in conjunction with the sales group.
Process CRM data entry for customer information and opportunities.
Maintain and update customer records, sales reports, and CRM databases.
Maintains product knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing manufacturers publications.
Prepare and distribute sales reports, presentations, and performance metrics for the Sales Director and sales team.
Assist with the preparation of sales proposals, bids, and presentations.
Track and manage sales team expenses, travel arrangements, vacations, and meeting schedules.
Support the onboarding of new customers and manage customer account documentation.
Handle general administrative duties such as filing, correspondence, and scheduling.
Assist with the organization of sales meetings, training sessions, and events.
Support execution of marketing initiatives, including monthly newsletters, email campaigns, swag, and social media updates.
Coordinate the development of marketing materials and content with internal and external resources
Track performance of marketing campaigns and contribute ideas for improvement
Work closely and maintain good relationships with sales staff and customers
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements

Accurate and efficient data entry skills are essential.
Organized and detail oriented.
A quick learner and ability to communicate with a diverse clientele group.
Analyzing information, estimating, planning, reporting research results, data centre experience, strategic planning, attention to detail, informing others, requirements analysis
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Excels at operating in a fast pace, community environment.
Experience with building/construction supply materials an asset.
High comfort level working in a diverse environment.
