Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front End Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and have a passion for retail sales. As a Front End Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations at the cash register, managing transactions, and ensuring an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. Your leadership will help guide the cashier team in providing outstanding service while maintaining efficient operations.

Duties

Supervise and train cashier staff to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash handling and processing payments through the POS system.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues.
Assist with merchandising efforts to enhance the shopping experience.
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area while ensuring that all equipment is functioning properly.
Monitor inventory levels at the register and communicate with management regarding restocking needs.
Utilize strong communication skills to foster a positive team environment and effectively engage with customers.
Implement time management strategies to ensure efficient checkout processes during peak hours.

Requirements

Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is required; retail grocery experience is a plus.
Strong communication skills in English; bilingual or multilingual candidates are highly desirable.
Proficiency in basic math for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
Familiarity with POS systems and retail operations.
Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong customer service orientation with a focus on creating positive shopping experiences.
Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
