Full job description

We are seeking a professional, well-spoken Concierge Security Officer to join our team at a luxury residential property in downtown Vancouver. This is a suit-and-tie position, requiring a high level of professionalism, customer service, and security awareness.

Minimum Requirements

Fluent in spoken, written, and reading English
Minimum 1 year of concierge/security experience
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Flexible availability (daytime, evenings, nights, weekends)
Must have a working phone with a data plan

Key Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to residents and guests
Maintain professionalism and composure in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
Conduct detailed report writing (including Crown Counsel-level reports)
Apply knowledge of the Criminal Code of Canada in appropriate situations (including lawful apprehensions)
Monitor property, enforce internal policies/procedures, and ensure building security
Demonstrate assertiveness, discipline, calmness, and respect in all interactions

Preferred Qualifications / Skills

Being bilingual (in addition to English) is a strong asset
Strong cognitive skills and experience with apprehension techniques
Previous experience in making legal arrests is preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
Valid First Aid & CPR certification (asset)
High school diploma (minimum)
