Are you ready to grow your Dog Grooming business and income? We are looking for an experienced dog groomer to add grooming services to our doggy daycare and pet food/supply retail businesses. The ideal candidate brings a passion for their work, and is looking to grow their existing client base and income in a positive, supportive work environment.

We are seeking someone who:

Works independently and is invested in growing their business
Is committed to excellent customer service, great communication, and building a great reputation, and achieving high-quality grooms.
Will create a positive, friendly experience for our canine clients and their families.
Has experience to help determine the best grooming options with owners
Prioritizes a clean and safe work environment

Key Responsibilities: Working in a friendly, positive environment, the groomer’s duties will include providing full grooming services, providing recommendations/options for owners, inspecting dogs for any health concerns, maintaining the cleanliness of grooming tools/space, and maintaining accurate electronic records.

Qualifications/Attributes: confidence with dogs and an enthusiastic, patient approach to dealing with them. This position is physically demanding, and the Groomer must be able to lift 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, bend and reach repeatedly.

Applicants must have strong oral and written English communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to perform under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced but supportive environment. Able to provide recommendations/options for various breeds.

Previous professional experience is necessary. Preference to someone with an existing client base.

Compensation: This is a full-time position with competitive wages that commensurate with experience. Will consider contract or wage+commission pay models.
