Job Summary

Join our vibrant hospitality team as a Restaurant Server, where your enthusiasm and dedication will create memorable dining experiences for our guests. In this dynamic role, you’ll be the friendly face ensuring guests receive attentive service, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere. Your energy and professionalism will help foster a positive environment that keeps guests coming back time and again. Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring all details are correct
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while balancing registers at shift end
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area, kitchen, and service stations in compliance with food safety regulations
Assist with food preparation tasks when necessary, supporting kitchen staff to ensure timely service
Manage guest inquiries or complaints professionally, turning any concerns into positive experiences
Follow all food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality standards are met consistently
Support team members during busy periods by managing time effectively and prioritizing tasks efficiently

Skills

Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with strong guest service skills
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and cashiering functions
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks smoothly during busy hours
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
Ability to perform basic math accurately for billing, tips, and cash handling purposes
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
Previous kitchen or food industry experience is a plus, demonstrating versatility in serving and food preparation
Hospitality-oriented mindset with a focus on creating welcoming guest experiences
Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue opportunities
