We are looking for a hard-working Registered Dental Hygienist to work at our Woodlawn Dental Care on Tuesday-Thursday and 1 Saturday a month who demonstrates professionalism and values as part of a collaborative team. Our ideal candidate shares our commitment to delivering top-notch patient care. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential qualities we seek. We believe in creating a comfortable and relaxed environment for our patients, and your ability to make them feel at ease is highly valued.

Qualifications:

High-level knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and the ability to discuss treatment plans with patients professionally and effectively.
Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail.
Familiarity with Dental office management software (Tracker knowledge is an asset).
Possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering patient trust and satisfaction.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be registered with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO).
Maintains a valid CPR/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities:

Perform dental hygiene procedures including teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing.
Conduct oral health assessments and provide patients with simple terms with oral hygiene techniques.
Take dental X-rays as needed.
Assist the dentist during dental procedures.
Upkeeping both the laboratory and operatory environments
Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high-quality patient care.
