About Us
Whispering Springs Wilderness Retreat is a unique wedding and event venue set in a beautiful natural setting. We specialize in creating unforgettable guest experiences, and we’re looking for a reliable, friendly team member to join us in a dual-role position supporting both our bar service and front desk operations. Position Overview
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of hospitality, customer service, and fast-paced event work. You’ll be responsible for serving guests behind the bar during events as well as assisting with front desk duties such as guest check-ins, inquiries, and general support.

Key Responsibilities

Bartend and Bar Back during weddings and events (including high-volume service)
Provide excellent customer service to guests throughout their stay or visit
Handle front desk tasks including check-ins, guest inquiries, and phone/email communication
Assist with light food preparation and basic kitchen support as needed
Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar and front desk areas
Work collaboratively with the events team to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications

Bartending and/or Bar Backing experience preferred (high-volume or event experience is an asset)
Customer service or front desk experience is an asset
Smart Serve certification (or willingness to obtain)
Food Handlers certification
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
Reliable and available to work evenings and weekends
