Position Summary

The purpose of this position is to perform general labour duties while ensuring a safe working environment for all trade personnel.

Key Responsibilities

Set-up, maintenance, and clean-up of tools and equipment
Maintain a clean and orderly jobsite
Ensure personal tools are in safe working condition and ready for use
Read, understand, and comply with all Epic Roofing & Exteriors Commercialgeneral and safety policies, procedures, and practices.
Assist foreman with all required duties

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Flat Roofing
Licensing: Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract. Journeyman certification considered an asset.
Safety Certifications: Fall Protection and Aerial Work Platform (AWP) certifications are considered strong assets.
Attributes: Punctual, dependable, diligent work ethic, able to follow instructions, positive attitude, able to work independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

This is a physically demanding field role conducted in various weather conditions. Applicants must be:

Comfortable working at heights and climbing scaffolding/ladders.
Able to lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 kg (55 lbs).
Able to perform physical tasks (bending, reaching, walking on uneven terrain) for extended periods.
Willing to work overtime during peak season to meet project deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $32.00-$40.00 per hour
