Part-Time Medical Clinic Cleaner
Generations Cleaning
Location: Whitby, ON
Schedule: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 7:00 AM – 1:30 PM
Pay Rate: $17.75 per hour

Generations Cleaning is a professional commercial cleaning company serving businesses and healthcare facilities throughout the Greater Toronto Area. We are committed to maintaining clean, safe, and healthy environments for our clients and their staff.

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team at a medical clinic in Whitby. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the facility, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities

Sleep Clinic Cleaning (Beginning of Shift)

Clean and sanitize patient rooms and treatment areas
Make and prepare beds according to clinic standards
Sweep and mop floors
Dust surfaces, furniture, and equipment
Empty garbage and replace liners

Facility Cleaning & Maintenance

Clean, sanitize, and restock washrooms throughout the facility
Monitor washroom cleanliness and perform upkeep as needed during the shift
Clean hallways, entrances, vestibules, common areas, and waiting rooms
Maintain cleanliness of elevators and elevator lobbies
Collect and dispose of waste and recycling
Spot clean glass, doors, and high-touch surfaces
Respond promptly to spills and assist with clean-up as required
Report maintenance issues or supply shortages to management
Follow all health, safety, and infection-control procedures

Qualifications

Previous commercial cleaning experience is an asset but not required
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
Reliable, punctual, and professional
Able to perform physical tasks including walking, standing, bending, lifting, and mopping throughout the shift
Experience in medical or healthcare cleaning environments is considered an asset
