Full job description

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Aluminum Extrusion Saw Cutter to join our architectural building front manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately measuring, cutting, and preparing aluminum extrusions used in the fabrication of curtain walls, storefront systems, and other architectural building envelope products.

This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to read technical drawings, and a commitment to producing high-quality components that meet precise specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Operate aluminum cutting saws and related equipment safely and efficiently.
Read and interpret shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and cut lists.
Measure and cut aluminum extrusions to specified lengths and angles.
Verify dimensions and tolerances using measuring tools and gauges.
Label, organize, and stage cut materials for fabrication and assembly.
Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
Monitor material quality and report defects or inconsistencies.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow all company safety procedures and workplace regulations.
Assist fabrication and production teams as required.

Qualifications

Required

Experience operating industrial saws or cutting equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong mathematical and measuring skills.
Experience working with aluminum extrusions or metal fabrication.
Ability to lift up to [70 lbs / 32 kg].
Strong attention to detail and quality control.

Preferred

Experience in architectural glazing, curtain wall, storefront, or facade manufacturing.
Knowledge of architectural aluminum systems.
Forklift certification or experience.
Experience with automated cutting equipment.
