Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Caterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, serving, and presenting high-quality food for various events and functions. This role requires a passion for food service, excellent culinary skills, and a commitment to food safety standards. As a Caterer, you will play a vital role in creating memorable dining experiences for our clients while maintaining professionalism and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to menu specifications and event requirements
Set up catering stations, buffet tables, and serving areas with appropriate utensils, linens, and decorations
Ensure all food handling practices comply with safety and sanitation regulations
Assist in food presentation and garnishing to enhance visual appeal
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and serving areas throughout the event
Coordinate with event staff to ensure smooth delivery of catering services

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or catering services within the food industry or restaurant environment
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
Kitchen experience including meal preparation and food presentation is preferred
Knowledge of the food industry trends and customer service excellence is advantageous
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed
Flexibility to work during weekends or evenings depending on event schedules
