Full job description

Job Overview

We are seeking experienced Painters to join our team. The ideal candidate is skilled in residential and/or commercial painting, takes pride in producing high-quality finishes, and works safely and efficiently both independently and as part of a team

Duties

Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, patching, caulking, and priming.
Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
Read and interpret work orders and project specifications.
Protect surrounding areas with drop cloths, masking, and coverings.
Ensure clean, professional workmanship and attention to detail.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and clients.

Qualifications

Journeyman Painter certification or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years of professional painting experience.
Experience with residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
Knowledge of surface preparation and various coating systems.
Ability to operate airless sprayers and other painting equipment.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders, scaffolding, and lifts.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
Must be local to Fort McMurray
