Barista – Jeffrey’s Café Kiosk

Montrose Cultural Centre | Permanent Part-Time | 20–25 Hours per Week

Do you love great coffee—both making it and drinking it? Are you happiest when you’re baking, preparing fresh sandwiches and creating a welcoming experience for customers? Jeffrey’s Café is looking for a friendly and dependable Barista to join our kiosk team at the Montrose Cultural Centre.

What You’ll Do

Prepare and serve high-quality espresso drinks, coffee and other beverages
Bake and prepare fresh food items according to Jeffrey’s recipes and standards
Make sandwiches and assist with daily food preparation
Welcome customers and provide friendly, efficient service
Operate the point-of-sale system and handle payments accurately
Keep the kiosk clean, organized, stocked and ready for service
Follow food-safety procedures and Jeffrey’s brand standards
Work independently while contributing to a positive team environment

What We’re Looking For

A genuine love of coffee, food and customer service
Friendly, positive and comfortable talking with customers
Dependable, punctual and able to work independently
Strong attention to detail and pride in quality
Able to follow recipes, procedures and brand standards consistently
Comfortable working in a busy, customer-focused environment
Previous barista, baking, food-preparation or customer-service experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right person

Position Details

Permanent part-time position
Approximately 20–30 hours per week
Located at the Jeffrey’s Café Kiosk inside the Montrose Cultural Centre
A mix of weekday and Saturday availability may be required
