OPX Excavating & Landscaping Inc. is an up-and-coming earthworks company, currently moving into larger civil projects, while still continuing to offer high quality & competitive projects in the commercial and residential sectors. We are a growing company located in Hammonds Plains, currently looking to fill the office manager/bookkeeper position. We offer lots of potential for growth & development for dedicated employees. We are looking to fill the following positions:

- Office Manager

The successful candidates will be dedicated and hard working with a passion for what they do. They will work well independently when needed, but value being part of, and contributing towards, the success and spirit of a great team.

Office Manager

Experience working in a Construction Environment an Asset.
Completion of Office Administration program or equivalent experience.
Must demonstrate effective communication skills, written and verbal.
Customer Service experience an asset.
Must have experience working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Excellent telephone etiquette
Experience with Calendar management and Appointment scheduling
Data entry experience
Understanding of Accounting Principles is a must
Highly organized and detail oriented
Sage accounting program knowledge is a must

Office Manager Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist with day-to-day office related activities.
Sort and file documents and receipts.
Data entry.
Communicate effectively with Management, Site crew members, and other staff to help streamline office processes.
Various other duties as needed.
knowledge of accounting programs, mainly Sage
Payroll

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
